It's blog hop time again at Papertrey Ink! This month Nichole asked us to simply create our best birthday card.
This idea came to me as soon as I woke up this morning and couldn't wait to try it.
I started by taking a sheet of almost every color of PTI paper I had and cutting a few 1/4" strips in each (4 4.25"x.25" strips of each color). Then I stamped the happy birthday sentiment from Pine's new set, Around and About Sentiments on each one in black ink.
I ran a sheet of 4"x5.25" cardstock through the xyron machine and just arranged the strips.
Is this my best birthday card ever? I'm not so sure but I definitely love it, especially how versatile it is. This card would be wonderful for a male or female, kid or adult, so it's definitely going to be one I'm going to keep stocked!
