Ingredients
2 oz Pisco (Italian Style)
.75 oz Barenjager Honey Liqueur
.5 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice
4 sage leaves
1 small egg white
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle three sage leaves with lemon juice, bruising the leaves but not chopping them
- Add pisco, Barenjager and egg white
- Dry shake (no ice) for 10 seconds
- Add ice, shake again
- Double strain into chilled cocktail coupe
- Slap remaining sage leaf between palms and place on top of the froth
This is the Abeja Libre Cocktail that Adam invented this evening. It's a bit of a riff on a Pisco Sour and mighty tasty.
